The results obtained by the researchers of the Clermont- Ferrand - Theix Centre give rise to a large number of publications.
Moreover, each year numerous theses are obtained by PhD students at INRA of Clermont-Ferrand - Theix.

• Theses obtained at the Clermont-Fd - Theix Centre:
• 238 PhD students successfully obtained their thesis between 1994 and 2006.
• 50% of PhD students come from the graduate schools of Clermont-Fd. The other half come either from foreign countries or from French universities.
• Distribution of theses according to research topics:
  

  • Sustainable breeding and the environment in mountainous grassland areas: 31%
  • Development of animal product quality: from grass to cheese and meat: 18%
  • Preventive nutrition and ageing: nutrients as signal molecules: 32%
  • Ecophysiology and genomics of cereal quality and trees: 19%
    
• Sources of funding for theses: INRA, Auvergne region, Ministry of Research, agricultural development, companies, foreign countries, associations, etc.
