Over
time, the Centre has developed solid partnerships with the main local
research institutions such as Universities, CEMAGREF, ENGREF, INSERM,
ENITAC... These collaborations have become a reality via research
contracts led collectively by INRA, or by the implementation of mixed
research units grouping together researchers around a common set of
themes.
- Partnerships with higher education
With
lectures given to students in many degree courses by researchers of the
Centre, we are strongly involved in higher education (Universities,
ENITA, ENGREF...). Researchers are also involved in the setting up of
training programmes (Masters...). INRA also accepts numerous students
for both short and long training periods.

Clermont-Ferrand - Theix collaborates with industrial partners of
diverse size and specialization, ranging from agricultural mechanics to
the farm-product industry (Nestlé, Danone, Lactalis).
The
Centre benefits from subsidies from local authorities (regional,
departments, municipalities) , the State ( FNADT) and the European
Commission (FEDER, FSE) for the cofinancing of scholarships or theses,
the acquisition of equipment or the setting up of new technological
platforms.
