Projects accepted by the French National Research Agency (ANR)

Further to the 2005 and 2006 call for projects of the National Research Agency (ANR), many projects proposed by teams of the Centre of Clermont-Fd - Theix have been accepted and financed.

Examples of projects which have been accepted include:

  • The PNRA (National Programme of Research in Food and Human Nutrition):
    • Nutrisens - Detection of nutrients and control of dietary intake, impact of nutritional imbalances
    • SIMPFRI - Safety, innovation and control of energy in refrigerated processes and equipment
    • Transqual - Trans fatty acids of natural origin in the dairy food chain. Comparison with their counterparts of technological origin
    • Lipivimus - Impacts of lipids on nutritional and sensorial qualities of bovine and porcine meats : effects of breeding factors and technological processes
    • METAPROFILE - Detection of early metabolic disorders associated to weight gain by using a metabolomic approach

  • The GENANIMAL programme (Genomics of Farm Animals:)
    • Qualvigena - Detection and validation of genes in meat quality of the 3 major beef breeds in France.
  • The PHYSIO programme
    • Epi-diabesity

  • The BIODIVERSITY programme:
    • DISCOVER - Biological diversity and functioning of ecosystems. Interpreting and estimating key experiments in grasslands using mechanistic modelling. Web
    • Woodiversity - Programme on the biodiversity of wood formation in relation to the biodiversity of biomechanical strategies.

  • The ADD programme (Agriculture and Sustainable Development):
    • PRODDIG - Promotion of sustainable development through geographical indications.
    • TRANS - Breeding transformations and environment dynamics.
  • The GENOPLANTE programme :
    • SMART - Sequencing and molecular analysis of a 12cM locus carrying multiple durable disease genes on chromosome 3BS in hexaploid wheat
