Research

Mission-oriented research is based on a strong potential of fundamental research. It covers a vast array of subjects ranging from farms, grasslands and animals to animal products, as well as humans, and of course plants.

Research axes

There are four research axes:

The units are situated in different locations.

Projects accepted by the French National Research Agency (ANR)

Further to the 2005 and 2006 call for projects of the National Research Agency (ANR), many projects proposed by teams of the Centre of Clermont-Fd - Theix have been accepted and financed.

European programmes

The involvement of the research units of the Clermont-Fd - Theix Centre in European programmes of the 6th Community Framework Programme of Research and Development (PCRD).
