- 773 people work at the Clermont-Ferrand - Theix Research Centre, including 350 researchers and engineers and 423 technicians.

- Moreover, the Centre welcomes at all times up to 300 trainees and young researchers in training, for a period of a few weeks to 3 years. 60 PhD students are currently preparing their thesis.

• International collaboration:

- Every year, the Centre's researchers travel on 300 missions abroad to 45 countries, essentially Italy, United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, USA, Switzerland, but also Japan, New Zealand, China...

- The Centre's researchers publish approximatively 700 scientific papers a year.

- The Centre manages a portfolio of 30 patents and licenses.
